Starting from 5th, Jan 2023, the UAE client started the assembly of the first set 120T straddle carriers after site checking out of the receiving parts. Due to Covid-19 influence, the client preferred remote guidance via WhatsApp group & remote program control. HUADA's after-sales team and client installation & commissioning team were invited to the WhatsApp group named HUADA STRADDLE CARRIER. 

 

The online technical guidance went on smoothly. Due to the time difference between the United Arab Emirates and China, HUADA technical guidance team worked till 9 pm to work to the maximum and cooperate with site people. Even during the Chinese Spring Festival, the HUADA team kept in touch and responded timely when they have some urgent issues.

 

On 8th, Feb 2023, all the functions were finished tested, and they do a load test with the support document as well as online guidance. According to site feedback, they did third-party test successfully and get a certificate for the straddle carrier on 18th, Feb 2023.

 

Next, the straddle carrier will be put into use for the wind tower can welding & production handling at the client facility & yard.
