Huada Heavy Industry is responsible for the design and supply of a HD-SL800/35 segment assembly launching gantry for erecting the full span length of 1/3 on the Bangalore Viaduct project.

The HD-SL800/35 segment assembly launching gantry can erect precast spans weighing up to 800 tons and up to 35m long at a rate of up to 2 spans per day and is self launching into the next span. The assembly of girder adopts stub matching precast which assembled on site, the girder is put on the piers simply and then combined span by span firmly. The first concrete span was erected in July 2016.

The erection method of segment assembly launching gantry is the segmental hanging and then construction tensioning after the steel strands are threaded.
